Wedding Mums

The lavendar mums at our October wedding altar bloom at each anniversary. I’ll never forget the breeze God sent us when the pastor prayed over our ceremony. The ribbons in the old oak trees rustled soft and a hush settled over all. Then, the celebratory bagpipe song danced into the gentle air. What a beautiful day, almost 3 years ago. Amazing now, J, that I love you more than I did when I was 16, 27, and yesterday.
