Winter wakes and frost casts a soft veil over earth. Sunlight filters serene through blazing leaves and morning’s mist rises over golden fields. Our breath becomes vapor and today I was reminded that life is a vapor, too. What then are we living for? If we set the cross before us then our callings become clear.
Life is not just about us.
Life is about loving God, giving thanks, living truth, sharing hope, helping people, protecting the earth and all of its creatures, lighting up the dark.
Let winter’s cold be a call to be kind: to people and animals alike.
